Top Undrafted Free Agents The Browns Should Look At

Okay, I'm gonna be optimistic. I'm gonna assume that the owners and the players make up and at some point in the summer we will see an agreement. Once that happens, we can then see trading and free agency, assuming they don't tamper with those. Anyways, with free agency, the Browns can look to add much needed depth from players that were passed up. Here are some notable undrafted free agents the Browns could look at in the summer.

Mark Herzlich, OLB, Boston College- This man fought off cancer and returned for his senior season at BC. Sure he needs some more time back but he is a great person and will be great in the locker room. He can be a solid backup and special teams player.

Derrick Locke, RB, Kentucky- Locke fell off boards due to his size. However, he has blazing speed and solid hands. Could be a good 3rd down back for the Browns to help keep Hillis' carries down.

DeAndre McDaniel, S, Clemson- He went into the season as a second or third round prospect but an average year topped with character issues knocked him off the board. Has enough talent to contribute in the secondary.

Jeff Maehl, WR, Oregon- Not the greatest size or speed but has great hands and runs great routes. Those translate well into the west coast offense.

Kendric Burney, CB, UNC- Solid size and speed who could fill in as a cheap nickel or 4th corner.

Armon Binns, WR, Cincinnati- Used his size and jumping ability to make extraordinary catches over smaller corners. However, average 40 time left him undrafted.

DE Pierre Allen is the best player available. He's 6'4" and a freak of an athlete
